When it comes to party staples for Halloween, Amazon Alexa-enabled device owners will have no need to toil and trouble. Five skills have emerged from the shadows of the Alexa skill store to treat party hosts to a boo-tifully hands-free event.

Music? Check.

Ambience? Check.

Games? Check.

Food? Check.

Music to Shake Your Bones too

Ask Alexa to "play Halloween sounds" and you'll have the opportunity to select from delightfully scary tracks such as: "haunted house," "graveyard zombies," "insane asylum," "paranormal activity" and more. Great for setting a sinister tone or to greet your trick-or-treaters with.  Enable the skill and say: "Alexa, play Halloween sounds."

All Hallow's Eve Ambience

For those who have an Amazon Echo Show, the Amazon device that enhances the Alexa experience with a 7" touchscreen, you can enable the "Haunted House Screensaver" to create a hair-raising prop for your countertop. The screensaver showcases an hour+ CGI video exploration of the grounds at a haunted house. Say: "Alexa launch Haunted House screensaver."

Games for Ghouls and Boys

Party guests can get in the spirit with Halloween themed Alexa game skills. Enable the "Trick or Treat" skill for a simple, interactive adventure for children. The game presents eerie interactions with animals and monsters and achievements for collecting treats in a virtual neighborhood. Say: "Alexa open trick or treat."

The developer of the game "Halloween feel the pressure," claims to have been deceased when he wrote it. The skill offers children a Halloween themed, ten-question quiz based on the letters of the alphabet. Questions are time-based and enhanced with spooky sounds. Enable the skill on your Alexa-enabled device and say: "Alexa, open Halloween Feel the Pressure."

Eye of Newt and Toe of Frog

Or, how about some petrified pizza? Once you've set up a pizza profile on the Domino's Pizza site and have linked to your account, you'll be able to ask Alexa to reorder your last order or to place your "Easy Order." Want to know when your pizza will arrive? Ask Alexa for your order’s status with Domino’s Tracker. Enable the skill and you'll be directed to a page where you can link your Domino's profile.
